Desert Sprints Regatta
Saturday, March 6
Tempe Town Lake
7:00 a.m.
Come cheer for Rio Salado, as rowers compete in the largest Desert Sprints regatta in nine years on Saturday, March 6. Teams from California, Colorado, and Utah will be travelling to Arizona to compete against local junior, collegiate, and master's rowing programs - like Rio Salado! Come enjoy the event from the
Rio Salado hospitality tent, set up on the north shore of the lake, on the grassy area just east of the Tempe Town Lake Marina - the perfect place to catch all the action.
The first of 42 scheduled races is set to go off 7:00 a.m., continuing until completion of the final race at approximately 5:00 p.m. There will be plenty of great rowing to see, so bring your lawn chair and sunglasses, and come spend the day with your Rio Salado Rowing Club team.
