At 12 Noon on Wednesday January 27th Tempe Town Lake was opened. Special thanks to our Park Rangers and the Boating staff for getting it opened so quickly.
Debris Alert: Please be advised there is still some debris on the lake so be sure your are watching for it as you are boating. Rowing shells w/o cox'ns should be especially alert.
Boat Beach Alert: There are docks still stored on the beach. Please be careful as you are taking boats in and out at Boat Beach. Please stay off the docks that are stored on the beach. Also we lost some sand to the river flow. Sand has been ordered and will be put out shortly, but watch for erosion.
That is probably not the end of our storms, so take advantage of the opportunity to get out on the lake while you can.
